Going to change set ups. Was wondering if you guys preferred Kings or Icons?

A friend of mine has kings and another friend has icon they both have no complaints..I on the other hand have procomp being installed.. I can't afford the any of the two previously mentioned

Both are good. But I’m a fan of blue.

I gravitate more towards King but the Fox shocks have dual compression adjusters for high speed and low speed. It's now my first pick if you are looking for more tuning capability.

I have Kings as well, but if money were no object I probably would have gotten Fox. The DSC adjusters are nicer and more functional than what comes with Kings and this is just my opinion, but I feel like Fox has done more R&D for the 4Runner specifically. King has tons of racing heritage, but Fox designed the suspension that comes on TRD Pros so I would imagine they have a pretty good idea of what works on the 4Runner.

Unfortunately, a full Fox 2.5 with DSC was almost $1k more than what I got my Kings for so that made the decision for me. I also couldn't buy the Fox direct from factory with heavier springs - I had to order additional heavier springs then pay to have them installed, which made it even more expensive.

I needed a part for my Icons and they were pretty good about getting me set up quickly. Icon had it in stock at their warehouse and since I’m local, let me drive up and pick it up at will call. Probably saved me a few days of waiting on shipping.

King may have similar customer service after the sale?
