Latest year Tacoma suspension swap

What is the newest year Tacoma that I can swap out the springs/shocks/struts? Trying to find a little upgrade to the XREAS and my new tires are running a bit up front.

Pretty sure and 2nd and 3rd gen tacoma suspension will swap, just need to swap the rear bushings on the tacoma shocks for ones that fit the 4runner. Look at @Bluesky 07 's recent posts, he just put some newer tacoma suspension on. I'll try and find the most recent one he swapped in, but heres one he did a few years ago: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3195449-post2.html

edit: heres the most recent one he installed off of a 2020 taco: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3593096-post32.html

Thanks for the info, seems it's easier to find newer take off 2020 Taco suspension than it is older models.

Happy to answer any questions you have about my setup. Also, since you mentioned you're looking to upgrade your X-REAS, the "X-REAS delete..." post linked in my sig has a lot of info you may find useful, including links to the FSM files on X-REAS removal.

Appreciate that. Found one set of Toytec 2" lift with Eibach springs for a 2016 Taco locally. Would that be too much lift?
