Battery size 24F vs 27F?
Had to buy a new Interstate battery for my '06 V6 at Costco today. When I looked up the size on the website, 24F is what comes up but the guy said I could choose between that or 27F.
I went with the 24F just to be safe but I'm wondering if I should've opted for 27F. Thoughts? |

Most people here upgrade to a larger deep cycle battery when the time comes. |

You also can use a group 31, 34 or 35 size battery.
Here is mine a group 35 and I also have a large marine group of this series for my on board secondary. It all depends on what you will use the battery for, just basic battery use 24 is fine. Use battery to run a fridge or overlanding go bigger. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...14930b4714.jpg |
24F is fine... but so are the others.

My 2016 SR5 is now a Die Hard machine. I installed it's 1st battery.
Die Hard GOLD 24F-6. 750 Cold Cranking Amp baby. Original tray and battery clamps fit perfectly for the install. Now it starts like a champ. |
