Keyless Entry and Push Button Start Standard!

It seems like every trim in the 5th gen lineup has push button start and keyless entry as standard now. The SR5, Trail, and Off-Road come with it now. No mention was made anywhere. Anyone else notice this?

Are you saying non-premiums have push start now ? About time :-)

Don't understand the fascination with push to start. Just rented a car that has it, goes to accessory when i want it off and starts when i want accessory. It's very annoying.

Don't push the brake petal down when trying to go between on and acc and it won't start. It's only supposed to start when you have the brake petal pressed.

This is my first vehicle with push button start and now I wouldn’t want one without it! Love having my keys in my pocket and just grabbing the handle to unlock and go.

Haha yeah that’s what it seems like. But I would like someone to confirm

jp.vegas 03-28-2021 01:37 PM

According to Toyota's website, that is true.

Push button start, not only convenient for drivers but also car thieves... 😂

Me too, though I do wish my 2019 had the LED headlights.

This is not true. I have a 2021 TRDOR non Premium.. regular key. The new update is LED headlights.
