2021 4Runner Limited: 2" front / 1" rear lift with 275/60R/20 tires ?

Question:

I just ordered the 2" front / 1" rear leveling / lift from Cornfed and want to make up the gap with a taller tire on my stock Limited wheels.

After a bunch of reading it looks like people are having good luck with putting a 275/50r/20 on the stock Limited wheels. So my thinking is,
if that size works, and I am lifting the truck why cant I run a 275/60r/20 for alittle more sidewall and to full up the gap the lift is going
to provide ?

Thoughts ?

Thanks for the follow, but this topic is dead in the water for whatever reason.

I find it hard to believe that their isn't a Limited owner with the stock 20" wheels running a 275/60/20 tire on this forum..?

you cant tell me their isnt a Limited owner with the stock 20" wheels running a 275/60/20 tire..

Limited's are less common, so less experienced users to reply back.

I have a 2010 Limited that I bought used that already had a 3" front and 1.25" spacer lift on it with I believe the tire size you're looking to go to (aftermarket wheels but prob same offset as stock so moot point. Also, I've since switched everything out on it.)

I can tell you that with a 33" tire like you want to run, even with my front being lifted 3" the plastics needed to be trimmed a little on the front lower portion. Not a ton, but it'd rub otherwise. Since you'll be an inch lower, you may need to do even more.

I really liked how it sat with the spacer lift. If you're interested I'd sell you my old ReadyLift set. Would have to see how much shipping is to set a reasonable price. (I'll throw in my old XREAS set I removed as well haha! I removed super clean, only a couple minor drips [not sure why everyone does it wrong...])

Update 7/28/21

Finally got around to doing some stuff to my 2021 Nightshade.
Tinted the windows (including the front windshield), removed the factory roof rack, lift and larger tires. Lift is a Cornfed 2/1 lift and tires are 275/55/20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on the stock Nightshade wheels. No rubbing. No issues what so ever.

First two pics are of the truck with the lift and the stock tires. The others with the Nitto's..

Removed the factory roof rack the other day. Truck looks SO much better (my opinion)...

I replied to another post with this same question, but I recently put tires on my 2022 TRD Sport. I put on a set of K02 tires 275/55/20 and no rubbing

Which 275 ridge grapplers are you running? i see they make a lt 275 and a regular 275. the lt seems to be a e rated tire and a tad bit bigger than the regular 275. your 4runner looks good. im doing the same set up and just wanna make sure the tires dont rub. but wanna fill the fener well as much as i can without rubbing. thanks

A went cheap and installed these on the Limited OEM rim a few days ago. Walmart exclusive at $124 each is hard to beat
