2002 warning lights

Blew out a brake line and lost all pressure. (Fortunately I wasn’t in the road). Pretty much lit up the warning lights and I’m guessing triggered a lot of codes. Had all the lines replaced and brakes are better than they have been in a long time. Only problem is it won’t go into 4wd when I press the button. I can put it into low via the lever so I know it’s not the transmission.

Question: if I have a tech clear all of the codes I’m guessing all of the lights will go turn off but will I be able to get into 4wd H?

Thank you,

JDG

Read the codes Before clearing them. There may be a clue as to why it won't go into 4hi.

Now clearing them may or may not solve the issue.

A wire could have accidently been bumped/loosened during the brake line replacement or it is just a coincidence the 4x4 developed an issue at the same time as the brakes???

It all happened when the brakes went flat. Zero pressure in the lines. This is a current view of my dash.

Definitely pull codes with an OBDII reader before clearing, but that combination of lights may not actually show any OBDII codes. ABS issues don't show up as OBDII codes, instead you need to jumper the ABS diagnostic port on the engine to read the ABS codes. You can find write ups and videos on how to do that pretty quickly with a bit of searching.

TRAC VSC and ABS lights on

Thanks fellows. I just use this truck for work on our property in northern MI. My primary interest is getting the 4H engaged.

Do you think the problems with the VSC is over-riding the ability to electronically engage 4H?
