I think I screwed up Eibach lift help needed!

About 6 months ago I bought 4 new Eibach shocks from a forum member with the intent on doing a 1.75” front lift and a 1” puck lift in the rear using the stock springs. The shocks I got was shipped in one box which happen to be the fronts. The part number on the box is E60-82-071-02-10.
The problem is when I had the shop put the lift on, the tech struggled to get it put together. It seems the shocks are about 1.5” longer then stock ones.

To finish my original post, so that tech struggled to get the shocks with the springs on on both the front and rear. The rear has the shocks with 1 inch corn fed spaces. What he ended up doing was putting the clip on the stock height and adding the 1 inch corn fed spacers on the front. The front wheels look like they are cambered in way too much. To add insult to injury he pinched a wheel speed sensor wire on the driver side front so now I won’t get my truck back until Monday evening.
I’m wondering where I screwed up. Was I supposed to get springs with these shock? I really didn’t want to lift this any more than 1 inch on the rear and 1.75 on the front. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you choose the wrong mechanic. Not trying to be an ass, but I don’t know how he could put rear spacers on the front and get anything to reassemble. I’m using 5100s set at zero with Dobinson’s 1.75” spring. Didn’t have any issues getting to fit. Not necessarily the same components that you’re using but sounds close. I’ve got corn fed spacers in the rear. Again, no issues with install.

I’m really having a hard time trying to figure out how he was able to put the rear spacers in the front.

I know you don’t have the truck right now, but pics would definitely help the forum to guide you through this.

I didn’t put the rear spacers in the front. When I bought the corn fed spacer kit it came with front spacers as well.
I probably shouldn’t have handed him the front spacers when I gave them the rears but I told them they shouldn’t be necessary if he sets the clip high enough.
I will call Eibach in the morning I’m sure they will have some insight on this.

Reread your post.

Are you saying you now have a spacer in front and rear? (Edit: we were typing at the same time, understand now. ) Lots of 4runners like that with happy owners. Most just add them to stock parts though.

Part number seems to be correct. If that’s what was in the box.

You’ll need an alignment after lifting. Depending on how the install was done and what parts were loosened, the alignment could be way off.

Edited due to my poor comprehension skills.
