Secondary hitch for V8?

Has anyone installed a secondary in bumper hitch for the v8? Something like this:

This was posted on one of the Facebook groups and the guy never answered my query so I was wondering if anyone around here knew anything.

Basically, Im not sure I want to add all the weight of a full rear bumper, but getting the wheel out from under would be nice. That said, hitch carriers tend to drag. Seeing this combo looked promising, so I was looking for more info.

That setup . . . what is the point? Have a carrier in the swing arm while out on the trails with your gear and the shackle in the on-frame receiver ready to go in case you need to be towed out?

A sagging hitch carrier is either a crappy carrier frame or large tolerances between the hitch carrier insert and the receiver. There are insert sleeves that can be used to reduce the tolerances or you can make your own.
