Had my limited wheels painted

My limited wheels were peeling due to salty winter roads. I had them painted a metallic gunmetal and I think they look great with the Shadow Mica. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...f36b63eaa5.jpg

love the wheel color choice.

Looks good, but you'll wish you did the full powder coat in a couple years.
Also, tell your tire shop to use the internal stick-on weights and not those ugly crimp style ones. They vibrate and will ruin the finish much faster.

You nailed the color!

Yep, they are getting balanced today and I told them to use the adhesive internal weights.

That looks SICK!
How much did that run you?

I’d like to know, too. Around here (southeast US) have people quoting $175/wheel for dip, strip, weld, true/balance, paint custom or factory match.

Honestly this is entering the price territory of replica wheels. The deal is absolutely sealed if the owner was also considering going for a larger wheel like those 22” TRD replicas.

As far as quality, if it balances and accepts an OEM center cap, what is the remaining advantage?

They were $450. I had been looking for almost a year for limited wheels for sale in good shape but most were already peeling and were selling for $500 or so. I am happy with the results.
