It's almost the 4th quarter of 2021 and all indications are that we will have the beginning of a "2008 Tailspin" next year. It will go on for for a couple years after that. It's a bubble. It will pop. Many of us have seen this mess 5 times over. You can smell it.

I would hang onto you current 4Runner. Dont buy one now. The prices are crazy. The economic mess will likely run into 2024 and this just about the time the 6th Gen will come out if Toyota doesnt fall asleep at the wheel again. Wait until the next model year after it's first introduced. There will be so much bad credit out there by then and people will just begin to get their jobs back that Toyota will have to discount the 6th Gen in the second model year of production.

Buy a new 6thGen at that time.

Thats what I think.
