Engine Sputtering and Very low Idle on 3.4L when Shifting to R/D

When I pop my truck in either R or D the idle gets very low and it starts to sputter/shake. I also noticed that if I leave my truck to idle for more than 5 minutes the check engine light turns on which is the bad o2 sensor after the cat but I don't think that's my problem. When driving, it does goes away but I want to know as to why my truck is giving me a very low idle when shifting to R and D. This is intermittent - when I tried to diagnose it, it wasn't doing it. Any tips to resolve this?

I'm gonna be cleaning the troubled IAC Valve right now and see if that fixes it.

What code are you getting for the check engine light?

Sounds like a vacuum lead possibly. Do a visual inspection for any cracked old hoses or loose or unattached lines.

I'm not sure on the code # but I know it was the o2 sensor code behind the cat. Hoses seem to be decent enough but I did find the intake hose near the throttle body cracked so I will replace it.

The IAC Valve was hella gunked up so cleaning it with TB Cleaner made it look and perform better and while I was there I also cleaned the TB itself. First inicial startup..... it ran normal but the idle drop was not present anymore so I hope it stays like that for good (the problem was intermittent).
