Finally found my TRAIL
1 Attachment(s)
After looking for months, I was able to pick up a 2010 trail. I had missed on a half dozen or so before I snagged this one. I've already ordered some tires for it and want some of the new TRD Pro style wheels but am unsure of color. I'm torn between gunmetal and black. Anyone have any pics of the TRD Pro style wheels on silver trails or TRDOR's?

If it were mine I would leave the current wheels on it. They are rare enough to look different and unique. I like the looks of them.

Ditto! I've even thought of selling my stock '16 wheels to put on some Trail rims... they're sweet.
OP, sweet ride! My opinion would be to get those new tires mounted first and then see how you feel before changing the wheels. :)

Ditto what the others say. Yours looks great!!!
Something about a clean slightly modified vehicle just hits the spot. Small lift and new tires, oh yeah. What about even having them painted a gunmetal grey to slightly modernize them?
If you're for sure going with new wheels, I like gunmetal or silver wheels as they aren't as popular as black and maintain a little originality especially to contrast the fender trim.

101K miles. 2 owner. No rust. KDSS. It's in incredible shape for it's age. I was vey happy to get it.
Thanks everyone for the comments. I think I will just try out the tires on the stock wheels to start with. They're not much more aggressive than the existing off brand tires, but these are making some noise and I'm not a fan of cheapo tires. I've got Hankook ATM's on the way.

Nice! 2010 - 2013 have the best front ends IMO.

Original Trail wheels is what I got rid of first when I got my 2013. I don't think those attractive by any means.

I agree with that, but I would say: arguably, 2010 – 2013 Trail are the best of all 5th generation 4Runners period.
