Back up Camera
Just pulled into my parking spot at work to discover my back up camera is not functioning, it is a black screen, but radio/XM screen all good, just goes black when I put it in reverse. Before I dig into it, anyone have this happen and can direct me where to begin looking. Wondering about a corroded wire in the rear hatch?

Coworker put a piece of electrical tape on the lens as a joke?

Goheels has a post about this that solved the issue for me. If you search backup camera it’ll come up. I did go heels fix and it hasn’t happened again in the last 3-4 months at all.

Yup something about the wire being fastened too tight in the hatch and after opening and closing it so many times it eventually pulls a connection loose

Thanks, stupid rookie mistake to post before searching forms, I thought I was better than that :). I saw the note about the tight wire but seeing as it was -5C when I got home Thursday night, I opened the hatch, jiggled the two wiring harnesses, closed the hatch and the camera started working again. I'll try the fix the first day its warm enough. Cheers!
