Anyone hear whether the GX460 will become a crossover?

I've heard that the current chassis will continue through 2023, and after that, the GX will basically be built off the RX platform, but basically have a longer wheelbase.

Has anyone heard anything similar? If it's true and it becomes a unibody SUV w/o the off road chops, I could see GX460's holding their value pretty well moving forward.

That would be pretty sweet. But out of my price range for an off road rig.

What you are describing is the new TX.

I can't remember which thread, but "carmaker1" said it would become more of a dedicated of roader in the next generation. I'm assuming more like the Land Rover Defender. That would be awesome because the Defender is on my list since the GX and especially the LX have such an ugly grill. (IMO) He seems to know quite a bit about the rumors and so far he hasn't been wrong. I think the thread is under gen 6 speculation.
