Big tires causing damage under car, also what's this connector?

I put on knobby tires on my 4runner and I'm getting gravel in the treads that then get flung out at speed on the highway. It's starting to destroy wiring and suspension parts underneath.

Is there something that can be done?

An example of the damage it's doing:

This is the electrical connector to the charcoal canister.

How can I identify this part and get a replacement?

Nevermind, found the connector: Home >> Shop >> Sumitomo >> 10 Way Connector Plug Pigtail for Toyota & Lexus Blind Spot Sensor & Canister Pump Module, 90980-12380

90980-12380

EDIT: Where can I find a pinout for this? It's not in the electrical manual.
EDIT2: It looks like this connector was used on the 2006 4runners, I show it in the documentation for the newer models. Weird that my 04 would have it.

Please check my work. Using the 2006 electrical manual, I get these two images:

And thus I think the pinout should be:

[ORANGE] [BROWN] [RED] [BLUE/RED] [EMPTY]
[WHITE/BLACK] [EMPTY] [RED/GREEN] [BLUE/WHITE] [EMPTY]

Do I have that about right?

I wired up the replacement charcoal canister connector today. This likely applies to 2006+ (not sure why mine has the newer connector), but I can confirm the pinout I posted is accurate, in case anyone is searching this topic.

Also note that if your wires have dots on them, THOSE MEAN NOTHING. Your color codes are main color and secondary STRIPE only. And L is blue fyi.
