LTX vs stock Geolander G96

I have about 35K on the stock Geolander 20"
I like the tires and they look good. thinking of getting another set.

Is there a reason to the Michelin LTX instead?

Michigan....

I've used the Michelin LTX for several years, really like them, they are smooth, quiet and perform well in wet and snow, I don't off road. If you like the Geolanders and they serve you well, stay with them, but you won't go wrong with the Michelins.

Thanks

Did you have any balancing issues?
I know the 4runner is picky with tires...

I've had no balance issues. I run the stock sized tires on stock wheels and they are smooth as glass.

Yokohama's

I have a '22 TRD Sport that came with the 20" Geo's and I found that they were the worst tire I have driven in the winter in a very long time. I have the Michelins on a Tundra and in my opinion they are much better. On both I now run studded snow tires in the winter. I have a $1000 collision deductible so a couple of near misses pays for the wheels and tires.:lookout:

Are you talking about the Michelin Defender LTX M/S ?

Humble Leader 11-02-2022 04:20 PM

for a daily driver that doubles as an adventure rig the defender M+S and XIce for the winter can't be beat. if you don't get cold winters but just get some snow you can run the M+S all year, but they won't double as a true winter tire
