Auxbeam Lighting System Install

Hey Dudes,

@infamousRNR (aka Sean) and I installed Auxbeam switch panels and lights on our rigs. This video is us installing the fuse blocks and switch panels. Part 2 will be the mounting of the lights and wiring them all up.

I installed the older version of this switch panel around two years ago and I can't speak highly enough of it. Super easy and simple to set up and I've had no issues with it so far. I won't hesitate to use the same setup in my next off road vehicle.

Crazy timing - I have been trying to work out the next steps for lighting and relays on my 4Runner... adding this to the list of possibilities.

That's one of the nice things about switch panels like this, the relays are built in. It simplifies the wiring by quite a bit.

I just did a full custom relay/fuse panel on my Camry - I needed 5 relays/fuses to run various things. Had to go custom since I was switching grounds sometimes, power other times, etc. I already had the wiring generally in place, but had a jumble of crappy wiring near the battery. Got it all cleaned up nicely.

The 4Runner needs are more straightforward, though I'd like to do something that could possibly run a winch too - which this setup probably won't without extra work.

Has anyone been able to use regular rocker switches with these? I love the simplicity in wiring but really prefer the classic carling switch look. I'd assume you could tear into the control panel and wire in your own switches, but am not really keen on wasting $150 on the off chance it doesn't work.

I've been working on making a button mount panel that replaces the interior fuse box cover, hoping to get my second prototype tomorrow to see if it fits

Interior Fuse panel cover button mount - Looking for feedback
