Noise from AC vent area question
Hi gang. I noticed a humming noise when I change foot/head vents or any buttons to change vents. It's like humming sounds then goes away.
Also, there is no air on foot when I select foot air. Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk |
Could be the servo for your footwell vents going. It’s a common problem in the 4th gens. Give a search for that and you’ll find some threads on the issue and how to repair it. Luckily, driver’s side is easy; passenger’s, not so much.
My symptom was a “whirring/clicking” noise as the servo tried and failed to open my footwell vents. Sounds like maybe your servo is humming while trying to open the vent? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Yea- clean out your cabin filter. Otherwise, this is likely your answer DIY: Replace Servo Sub-Assy
