Front bumper
Does anybody have any luck with this type of front bumper? Wondering if anybody can speak to the quality and if it can be painted. I’m in need of a new front bumper and Toyota doesn’t make it any longer.

Bumper cover
I'll assume you are looking for a front bumper cover as opposed to the whole bumper assembly. I've been looking for a while and this is a pretty good price for a painted cover. On sale for 1 more day. I'm in NY and its $396 shipped, painted to your code and has the upgraded clear coat. Can't speak about quality today, but ask me in a month.... Sorry if the link is not formatted correctly. Be aware 2003-05 and 06-09 covers are different.

I ended going this route after getting a paint quote of $400! This is a pretty good deal and I'm hopeful for the results! The other way would costs a lot more!! Thank you!

I wanted to provide a little for everyone, hoping that this helps someone else! I ended up going here to get my new bumper!
2006-2009 Toyota 4Runner Front Bumper I elected to pay extra for their premium clear coat, but it was way cheaper than taking a black bumper to a shop to have it painted. I learned that these bumpers that are shipped folded on the ends for delivery, will restore their shape with sun. Since I'm in Oregon right now, with no sun, I brought it into the house for a few days. The fit was great and the quality was top notch! Definitely worth the price and I would purchase again!! |
How well is the color matching in person? Looks good in the photo.
I'm considering doing this with my front and rear bumper but in white. |
