Got an oil change at the dealer but no u joints were lubed...

So I have the 3 free oil changes from Toyota.
The oil change voucher even says right on the coupon that
lubrication is part of the free package.
Got the first one today so when I get home
I checked underneath to see if they hit the u joints.
Zero, nada, zilch. Bone dry zerk fittings.
Luckily I only have 4500 miles on her so I will have to do it myself.

Why not take it back to them or call them and ask them why it wasn't done? It's possible that with such low miles on her that they didn't think a lube was necessary yet.

FYI, the Toyota maintenance schedule does not call for lubrication at the 5K service interval. That might be why it was not done.

Looks like the 10K service interval is the first one where the propeller shaft is lubricated.
