First 4runner

Recently I totalled my modified Land Rover Disco II and decided to purchase a 4runner my parents previously owned. It's an silver '02 SR5 Sport edition with 195K on her. I gave 6,300 for it and i'm not sure if i got a good deal or not. I know that I will need to replace the timing appauratus and water pump and it needs new tires. (which tires are best for everyday use but look good?) I know that this could have potential problems being that it is a high millage truck but like i said i previously had a LR and compared to those, i think this thing should be a lot better.

Thanks for any and all input!

You probably did over pay. The timing belt and water pump might run around $500 and tires will be another $600-700.

I liked my previous tires which were Michelin LTX.
