20" Fuel Offroad wheels

Just ordered a set of machined/black Fuel Offroad Gauge wheels today (wrapped in nitto terra grapplers).

I think the styling is consistent with the stock 20's but the extra black will give it a nice look, esp on a black truck.

As a result, my stock limited 20's are gonna be for sale and available in about a week. Have about 13k on the tires, tons of good tread left, and the rims are spotless. I live in the bay area- PM me if interested.

Look forward to getting the new rims on and sharing pics.

Hope you have better luck than I did, I ordered them waited a month to find out that they couldn't mount my tire pressure sensors because the valve stem is straight up and down and the tire place wouldn't take responsibility for breaking them on install. So if you don't want your tpms sensors you should do just fine

yeah, i specifically raised the question about TPMS with the guys before ordering (i remember seeing a/your? post about problems with compatibility)- they seemed to think they could work it out, but we'll see...

ha-ha you know my shop said the same thing because there was a post i found right after ordering them and asked they were like we do this all the time it wont be a problem. If there was another shop that would match the price my car would have been there. Either way i am going to be super excited to see it on your ride and really pod at my shop for not making it work. Plus i live on the east coast and it literally took over a month to get them to get so extra aggravation. Take a look at the cooper zeon ltz I found it to be a very good competitor of the nito and was cheaper

Actually just got them put on yesterday. Pretty pumped with the new look. The tire shop was able to swap my TPMS without any problem, so I was pleasantly surprised by that given the problems some other folks have run in to.

The only issue is that they shipped with smaller center caps than i was expecting, so I think im gonna swap out for the bigger ones (basically covers the whole center part and the lugs in black- see the pic at the top of this thread).

Snapped a couple quick pics yesterday...

Looks good, even with the smaller center caps

Looks good.. I really like these wheels! What's the size of your tires? Any rubbing on full right/left turns? Awesome look my man and your in my area. See ya around

tumbler180 12-04-2010 08:52 PM

Thanks guys- the nittos are 275/55/20s, and the rims are offset +14. This was based upon the experience of many others on here, and I don't have any rubbing under full turns in either direction. Check out snow&surf's thread about 20x9 rims, which includes a link to a useful wheel/tire size calculator.

Looks good! I like those wheels too. I wish they made them in 17" and not so wide.

yeah, the tire/size calculator site i linked to above says that they stick out 0.6" more than stock... look pretty flush to me, no appreciable difference.

Turns out I would have to get a couple holes drilled in the rims to accomodate the bigger center caps. Put the larger center cap over mine just to see what it looked like, and I really preferred the current look with the smaller caps more, so I'm gonna just stick with them. For anyone in the bay area, the guys at 5 Points Tire in Redwood City do top notch work, have great service, and are all around good guys. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be doing all my tire business with them in the future.

Managed to escape to Tahoe for a quick day trip to Kirkwood the other day...

Hi I have a 2018 Sr5 4runner with 20 inch fuel maverick wheels on 275-55-20 tires with 2 and a half inch lift. I’m trying to switch to the trd pro wheels. I already bought them but I’m confused about the different offsets and backspacing differences. Will the trd pro Sema wheels be fine when switching out the 20 inch fuel Maverick wheels? Obviously I’m gonna change the tire size to 275-70-17 but just on the stance of the truck and fitment not sure if I will have to change anything or if the stance of the truck will look different or deal with spacers or anything? Any help is appreciated!

find the correct numbers and punch them in here. https://www.willtheyfit.com/

it will draw it for you and you can see what the difference will look like. I can't imagine any reason you would have a problem putting Toyota wheels back on the truck unless a PO did something major like changing the hubs. I believe the offset on the TRD wheels is +4. dont know anything about 20 inch wheels because they're ****ing gross.
