Bud Built Skid Plate Questions

QUESTIONS RE BUD BUILT on trail editions with KDSS:

I noticed one thread a member moved the a cross pipe to gain an extra inch of clearance; does the bud built skids cover this part of the exaust and do you have to move the pipe higher to fit the bud built skids?

I haven't been able to find any pics of a bud built front skid vs stock; does it offer more "head on coverage"? In other words does the skid extend up protecting more than then stock or is it just beefier?

Would I need to upgrade my suspension to handle the extra mass of the skids? (also wanting shrockworks sliders)

You have the stock up under yours to compare if you have one.

Skids sit just below the crossover with 1/4" clearance.

No the skids weigh about 140-150 lbs more then stock . Your suspension should be fine as the weight is spread out front to rear. Just like if you had somebody in your truck that weighed 150lbs .
