ryhi's 4runner
hey guys just wanted to start a build thread where i can log the progression of my 4runner. this is my first truck and had it for a little over a month now. this is a completely different feel/scene from my previous cars but so far im loving it!
thought id post up some pics of my previous cars to show where im coming from. 1999 Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor (rear ended and totaled November 2007): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...2.jpg~original 1996 Lexus LS400 (sold March 2011): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...2.jpg~original http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...2.jpg~original now here is my latest. 2002 Toyota 4runner SR5 Sport 4WD the day after i brought it home (purchased March 2011): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...o.jpg~original so far only ebay clear corners and a 2" Toytec bodylift have been added. i already had the body lift and i figured i'd just install it. im still waiting the rest of my actual suspension lift to be delivered. wheels/tires/suspension lift should be on within the next week or two. i also removed the rear towing package. here is how it sits as of today (April 2011): http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...8.jpg~original http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...1.jpg~original http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...9.jpg~original |
Nice wheels man! All three vehicles are stellar!
Are your plans for 4Runner similar to those other cars? Obviously not in the suspension department. But other than that?
Nice!
You've had some sick rides! Diggin the who way you've gone with the previous rides, can't wait to see where you take this one! :snacker:
still not 100% sure on where im heading with the 4runner, but definitely will have a bit of a "jdm" look since im digging a lot of surfs ive seen from japan.
Your Merc and Lex were insane. Love your style. I'm not a fan of body lifts because of the weird things they do to bumper/body fitment and exposing the frame even more. Just my opinion. Either way, I'm curious to where this is going. Good luck!
Still have yet to see this in person since I live literally a block away from you man haha. Let me know when you get the new stuff in!
Nice runner I see you're taking the lifted approach. Welcome to the boards.:biggrin2:
