1st gen seats.

I never really noticed it cause I do not ride in the passenger seat but i just found out its not adjustable. Or am I missing something. I just replaced the cable underneath and the eat slides forward so people can get out the back but it does not slide up for leg room like the drivers side.

Is this normal? The drivers seat has a handle to adjust. the pass seat does not.

Mine isnt adjustable either. I always just assumed it was broken. Haha.

I knew mine was broken till i just fixed it and I was like WTF??? we had a tall guy in the back and my wife could not move the seat forward to give him more leg room..

Mine is the same. I believe I asked the same question and the answer was it's not adjustable in that way.

On 1st gens, only the drivers seat, after all the driver is more important :)

past my drivers license test in my parents runner along time ago that i currently own now. the tester was short and couldnt adjust the seat lol. i dont think he saw much over the dash. only got docked 1 point cuz i didnt know you had to parallel park

SUBTEGRAL 10-13-2011 09:17 PM

So you parallel parked it your way?

sympl_runner 10-13-2011 10:33 PM

I squeeze a car seat into the back on a regular basis. It's easier to leave the seat buckled down and just get in the driver seat with my son then turn around and strap him in from the drivers. Kind of a pain in my a** but he loves the exhaust note!

i was like 15 1/2 at the time and never learned to parallel park. i live in a pretty open city and we have huge parking lots. parallel parking isnt needed in my city. now i can parallel park like no other even tho its hardly ever used in this city.

My seat used to slide up to fit people in the back till the wire snapped. It's like impossible to replace. I just want new seats.
