Any full inspection for my warranty-expiring car?

I am driving a 2005 4runner 4.0L Sp, and my extended warranty (platinum) is going to expire in three months. I wonder if there is any full inspection service for it and if it is necessary? I did use my extended warranty last fall when they found my front caliper needs to be replaced in addition to the scheduled brake replacement.

I called my dealer, continental toyota at countryside IL, and was told they have something called "Safety Check" which checks a little more than their oil change service. the price is about $59. good?

Your opinion is appreciated.

I think that checking just a little more than an oil change for around $60 is a waste of money, IMO. Don't get me wrong being safe is smart! But if it's just a little more than the inspection given at an oil change, wait for an oil change. If there is something wrong, a stealership will be sure to tell you!

I would. Have them really drive it and shake it down. Especially look for leaks in the XREAS if you have that suspension. Check all the electronics thoroughly....sooner the better IMO.

I don't know for sure if the system can be pressure tested. a solid inspection under high light should be done. the xreas has a history of leaks. if you can have it examined by a qualified mechanic that might be the ticket. I plan to do this as well.
