I have a 2016 TRD Pro and noticed the leak today. It's minor and it looks exactly like your pictures. I called the dealer. Hope it's nothing major. My only concern: Is it okay to drive?

You could drive it around as long as you don't start feeling any jerking while you make a stop. Also, they are going to have to drop your transmission and remove your center console.

Im at 9800 miles.

The problem that I have is that it won't go into 4lo. Light indicates it is engaged however it does not engage.

Ill keep my eye out for the leak if anything happens I will post.

Thanks for the heads up. Just purchased a 17' TEP 3 weeks ago. Nothing to report but will definitely keep an eye on this.

Side note: Traded an 05' SR5 with 279,300 miles on it never had any leaks.

I haven't seen any leaks from '16 TE but like everyone else, I'll let you know if anything changes. I've only mine for a month have put just over 2,500 miles on it. You'll be hearing from me sooner than later.

Had an alignment today after my lift install yesterday and the tech (not at a yota dealership) claimed there was a very small weeping leak on my t-case. He said it was by the encoder motor shaft. We put it up in the air to look at it but all I can see (everywhere) is the fluid film I sprayed on for winter.

Really hoping theres not a leak and he mistook the fluid film as a leak but I'm going to clean off all the fluid film and keep an eye on that area to see what pops up.

2016 SR5 27k miles. Just installed a 5100s yesterday so I am kind of bummed I didn't catch it before if there is a leak - worried about them voiding warranty with the 5100s
