2017 4Runner won’t start unless I disconnect battery first

I have the oem security system. Could it be an issue with that? I checked the fuses and they looked good to me. Figured I’d ask, I already have an appointment with the dealership.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Anything is possible!

The security device you described could be the case. I don’t have much of an answer for you (sorry), I just want to make sure that you double checked all ur cables and wires so your not grounding out your battery. That would be my suggestion. If your not sure what I mean (it’s ok a lot of car people don’t know much about batteries and wiring) just let me know and I can inform you some more. other than that, I hope it all goes well and you fix what you need to fix!
