2008 4runner Parking Brake Light Flickers Intermittently

Anyone know what is causing this and have a solution?

I checked my brake fluid master cylinder or reservoir and it looks full.

check the plug by the reservoir for the sensor, I had an issue where the light came on because of the wire attached to plug was severed. may need to unwrap tape to see.
