2008 4runner Parking Brake Light Flickers Intermittently

Anyone know what is causing this and have a solution?

I checked my brake fluid master cylinder or reservoir and it looks full.

check the plug by the reservoir for the sensor, I had an issue where the light came on because of the wire attached to plug was severed. may need to unwrap tape to see.

Understood. This sensor by the reservoir, is this is all know as the "float sensor?"

ya, the float sensor. check the wires under the tape, make sure they are intact.

This mainly seems to be limited to people who heavily modify their cars or are wanna-be ricers, but I swear I've really only noticed the prevalence of this trend recently (NYC for reference).appvalley tutuapp tweakbox
