2011 BRAKE, ABS, and Slip Indicator Light

Guys,
Hoping to see if anyone else had similar issue with Gen 5 after going from Halogen to LED lights.

I have had the vehicle since day 1 and no issues whatsoever. Today I went to a local custom shop and got some LED Headlights and High Beams installed. Just as I started driving back (with headlights on), noticed all three Brake, ABS, And Slip Indicator lights come on. Truck drove as usual but I got concerned and pulled over. No sign of any leaks or anything else. Started it back up and the warning lights were still there so I called the shop and complained. Guy told me to come back but all 3 lights went off as I was driving (headlights off this time). I turned the Headlights on Again and bam! The three lights returned within few seconds. Dude said it cannot be the LEDs cause they’re properly installed and he’s done 100s of them (not on a 4Runner but other vehicles). Told me to get it diagnosed and let him know. On the way back, I had Headlights off and all 3 warning lights went away. This evening turned the car on and no warning lights but a few seconds after turning on the LEDs, the problem resumed. To me it is very clearly related to LEDs.

So anyone else experiencing/experienced this? Any known solutions? Thanks in advance. (Saw a bunch of threads with 4Gen issues and some 5Gen but none really related to LED upgrades)

RF interference from the led ballast could be the cause.

You could be right.

So we figured out that it was the LED's for sure. Replaced them with an HID kit and the warning lights are gone.

Good that you found it. I actually like Hid's better.
