PS light and Slip Indicator Light - 13' 4Runner

Last week I swapped my worn out plastic steering wheel on my 2013 SR5 4x4 with a leather wrapped OEM wheel from a 2017 Tacoma. I apparently didn't research enough and the video guide for the swap failed to mention some important information such as keep the nut on the steering shaft when removing the stock wheel, and be careful of the wires that connect the airbag to the spiral cable assembly (clock spring). When the stock wheel came off it grabbed the wires and popped the cover off the spiral cable assembly allowing the cable to fall out and become unwrapped.

I did my best to reassemble and while it worked, within a couple blocks of my house both the Slip Indicator Light and Power Steering Light illuminated. I disassembled to inspect and couldn't see any tears, but the cable cover refused to stay on and so I broke down and purchased a new OEM spiral cable from eBay. I got it installed last night, and while the wheel turns freely and everything appears good... the lights are still on.

I did the zero point calibration, with paper clips. I inserted them in terminal 4 and 12, touched them together 4 times in 8 seconds which made both the ABS and Slip Indicator flash. I turned the ignition off, and then held the paperclips together and turned the ignition to "on." ABS flashes quicker, and Slip Indicator flashed once but didn't continue flashing. I turned the ignition back to off, and then started the vehicle and both lights remain illuminated.

SOOOOOO

I'm not sure if this could be fuse related, I haven't seen a lot of information about the power steering light coming on due to Wheel Angle Sensor?

Could I be doing the Zero Point Calibration wrong?

I would hate to throw a $60+ dollar part at this by replacing the wheel angle sensor, if that won't fix my issue.

I would love feedback and suggestions. The vehicle has no check engine light, and I could pull no codes from the OBD-II port. I do know that Techstream may show additional information.
