automatic sunroof not working

Seems my automatic sunroof function does not work. The inside cover is all the way back, as this happened once before when it wasn't all the way back-the auto feature wouldn't work, but this times it is.
Has this happened to anyone else before? It works fine when I hold the button down until it closes, its just a pain to get it to be perfectly closed.

Sounds like your auto function needs to be reset. Hold the "TILT UP" side of the switch until it tilts all the way up, and keep on holding the switch for another second or two. That should reset the auto function. You should hear it reset after it tilts all the way up. Hope that solves your problem.

Agree that it sounds like the auto function needs to be reset, but I believe the reset requires you to go through a full open/close/tilt/close cycle.

Thanks guys.
It worked. I just used the tilt up feature and held it for an extra 2 secs, and it reset itself.

Glad it was an easy, do-it-yourself fix.

Thank you very much sir. Your explanation helped me resolve the problem, without it I could not have done it. Please keep up your good work helping out people like me.
