Question xreas leaky shock

Alright, I've read a bunch of stuff relating to the xreas suspension and what it supposedly takes to fix a leaking front shock. I guess I am willing to shell out the cash, but why can I not get any two technicians/dealers to agree on how to fix the problem?
The 4Runner is in right now with a technician wanting to replace the two front shocks, since you usually would replace them in pairs. After giving him my thoughts, he still insists that it's an air suspension system, of all things. Would fluid be leaking from an air suspension, maybe.
Any ideas on where I can point this guy for some insight? I doubt I will have the work done at this shop, but like I said, I still cannot find any two that agree on the solution.
It's making me crazy!

Unhappy

Ok, the techs are coming around, but there is some question about needing to replace both front and rear or just the front shock. Apparently TIS allows for the replacement of one shock along with the accumulator and associated line. Still making me nuts!

Here. Set those numnuts at the dealer straight once and for all. To be fair though, the system does use a nitrogen charge in the center modulators. It's not completely an all-fluid system.
