FYI: Dealer fixed sunroof

For those of you with the sunroof rattle, just wanted to post a positive note on getting mine fixed. I had the rattle on both sides of the sunroof and it was getting SUPER annoying. I took it to Koons Toyota (Tysons Corner, VA) and they fixed it in one afternoon. No grease anywhere, no problems, no more rattles. Really painless.

what they did

I have not looked at it, but they said that they installed plastic tubing over the arms inside the sunroof, put down felt all over the place, and regreased everything. Maybe I just had a minor problem, but it sure sounded like the whole sunroof was going to fall on my head for a while there.

I got the impression that there is some latitude on the part of dealers to put in some or all of these parts, because they took pains to explain several times that they had done every possible thing (meaning that they probably could have done less). Good luck.
