Dreaded Battery Light On !!
So I had just finished lunch and decided it was a good day to take the beast through the car wash. I kicked back and relaxed while she's got scrubbed and pretty. Then, I notice something strange when I pull out of the wash...the car is in Park and On but the Battery Light just came On. So, I waited for someone to dry her up and pulled over to check it out. I turned her off and back on and nothing.. Battery Light is still On!!! Not to mention she started making this odd whinning/humming noise. Well.. drove it straight to the dealership and now I get to stress out the rest of the day until they call me to tell me what's wrong...
Any ideas??? Could it be the Alternator? She's only got 65K miles. Battery is practically brand new, got it a few months ago. She's not presenting any other symptoms. Everything else worked just fine.. radio, power windows, lights.
UPDATE:
So I've joined the exclusive Dead Alternator Club !!! YES !!!!! Dealer replacing it under extended warranty and including the TSB parts to sheild it from the elements.

Replacing X-REAS Suspenion, 3 Times: $0
Replacing Both Front Fog Lamps: $0
Replacing Both Front Turn Signal Lamps: $0
Getting the Beast Back on the Road without paying a penny....... PRICELESS
