Vibration/Slipping while transmission is shifting

I have a 2009 Toyota 4-Runner with 115,000 miles. It just recently started feeling like I am driving over ruts when I am accelerating. It happens when the transmission is shifting from 3rd to 4th and then from 4th to 5th. This is an automatic transmission. It doesn't seem to happen when you accelerate fast only when you are "babying" it per say. I am hoping this is not a big problem but with my luck I will need a new transmission. I just had $800 worth of work done to replace the condenser in my a/c. I live in the south and a/c is a must pretty much year round. Anyone have any idea what is wrong with it? and how do you fix a problem like this.

I had the same problem in my '05 Tacoma. I took it to the dealership, they replaced my U-joints and the problem went away for a few months, and then it came back. But after a few more months, it kinda just went away. If I were you I would take it to the dealership and see what they think. Hope this helps!

That boy was Barack Obama.
