Did they clear the codes for it? My VSC TRAC OFF light was on when my engine light came on as well - I was misfiring on number 3 cylinder. They replaced the plug, cleaned the coil, and it runs great. Both lights went off. Without knowing what you drive, do you have the center diff lock button to the left of the steering wheel? If so, make sure you have not pushed it by accident. When pushed, it will display the VSC TRAC OFF light. Also, you do not want to be driving around on the highways with the diffs locked, if that is the case. To disengage, push it and hold it in until the light goes off.
