[SOLVED]2007 SR5 checking engine, VSC TRAC, Slip light are on during drive.

Everything is fine with my 2007 SR5 until this morning, when I started the car, the check engine light, VSC TRAC light, Slip indicate light stay on all the time during the drive (I'm using H4 this couple of weeks because it's freezing cold here, -13F and heavy snow fall).

Should I wait for couple of days or call the dealer right away? Thanks.

I don't remember if a loose fuel cap sets off that combination of lights, but double check that your fuel cap is on tightly.

Glad you took Uneek's advice.......unplug the batt for a while and tighten your gas cap.

Got it back from dealer. Gas cap was tight, but it's rubber seal get loose which caused the issue. Replaced cap, problem was gone.

Thank you, guys.

This happened to me today and disconnecting the battery, removing the gas cap and tightening it back on then reconnect the batteries worked.

Experiencing something similar on my '03 Sport V6.

Check Engine, VSC TRAC, VSC OFF and Slip light are on.

Going to try disconnecting my battery and tightening the cap.

I can just disconnect the negative terminal right? Anything else I need to know? Should I wait a certain amount of time before reconnecting the battery?
