Rear Window working intermittently??

Anyone had this problem? A several weeks ago the rear window on my 2006 4Runner wouldn't go up! Finally, 4 or 5 hours later we were able to roll it up. SO.... a day or so ago, it did it again! Of course it was pouring down rain for the next 2 days!!!! We kept going out to the car and trying to roll it up but NOTHING. The next day, we tried it again and it worked! So what is the problem?? Is the motor going out? Either way, it's not right. We have an appt. on Monday to get our car worked so we'll mention it then.

Also, it is a CERTIFIED Toyota. It doesn't seem like one!! It leaks when it rains, the windshield was loose, the driver seats wobbles, there is a knocking sound every time we go in reverse and then the first several feet in drive. Anyone had this problem?

This may be related to the knocking sound between reverse and drive, but most feel it rather than hear it. I can hear it when the radio is off and quiet.

For the seat,

There's also a TSB out on the seat fix.

We never feel the knocking, just hear it. It does it EVERY TIME we back up, but it's only one "knock". Same for when we start off in drive. But it only knocks one time in drive AFTER it has been in reverse. Like when we are backing out of the driveway it knocks and once we put it back in drive, it'll knock. Make sense? Also, while we were pulling into a parking spot at Ikea over the weekend, he had to turn the wheel as far as it would go and it would make a knocking sound then as well. What gives??
