12V outlets

My o7 SR5 V-6 has two 12 volt power outlets. One is in front console the other in rear cargo area. Neither works. I have checked and replaced the cigarette and the acc fuses. Neither plug works. I read the owners manual and no other system has an issue which leads me to believe there must be an in line fuse somewhere. Where should I look for it or any other suggestions.

Thanks
Mudd

you have to push the button to the left of the steering wheel to have these plugs turned on. the ignition has to be atleast on to the acc setting for them to have power from the battery

These don't have an ON button. The ignition must be on. If that doesn't work check the 15A PWR OUTLET fuse (inside fuse box at driver's knee.)

Follow the links in my signature if you want to do a simple mod to have them on all the time.

I have an 07 SR5 and I've had the same problem with the power outlets. I've replaced the fuse 3 times. It always blows when I connect a cell phone charger after charging the cell phone a few times. I don't know if the charger is the problem causing the blown fuse or if their is something wrong with the circuit. The fuse box is below the steering wheel and to the left of it.

Does anyone know what to do to permanently fix this issue?

I have never blown a fuse, and sometimes I power my phone, XM and Garmin at the same time.

I would check my charger, maybe even borrow a similar model and see what you find.

Ditto, I run my Garmin in it all the time, and when necessary I use a two way adapter to also power the cell phone charger at the same time. Never had a problem with a fuse, so far.
