Anyone get seat rattle/creak resolved?
Obviously lots of us have the manual seat looseness/rattle problem. I was just wondering if anyone had taken it to a dealer and had them actually fix it to your satisfaction. Mine is become rather annoying, anytime I turn left or right at an intersection the seat shifts and I feel a slight pop like the seat is loose. I guess I only want to take it to the dealer if I have a good chance that they will fix it, otherwise I'd rather not risk them messing something else up.

Ah, the seats!!!
Ah, grasshopper, you ask the question of the century . . . Sell it, roll it off a cliff or better yet, walk away from it!
My seats have not moved since I had the second set installed. But the new seat covers look like crap again. However, it still smells new.
I have stopped driving mine. It has been 4 sale for six months. Only one bite. But she ran... now that the front rotars are f'ed up. I'm driving my 1980 Mercedes Turbo Diesel. Which by the way is getting 30 miles to the gallon compaired to the blazing 21.2 that the 4runner gets.
Mine cost 35k. If I COULD JUST SELL IT I could get 5k BELOW my pay-off. Even using MY dealer license and trying to sell it to my local dealer - Who was the one that did the 6k in damage to my breaking system (Last year) they would give me 21k. I owe 28k. Per the general manager, the new 4Runners are "Really Soft."
Good LucK!

In the "Peanuts" cartoons there was this character who was shown with a storm cloud always over his head. You have even this cartoon character beat though. Have you though about applying for a listing in the Guiness Book of World Records as the unluckiest person alive?

What kind of seats are we talking about? The power seats in a Limited or the manual seats?

SR5 Stock - Not Power
Hi!
Mine are the stock SR5. I have was told by Toyota that the power seats are better because the seat motors pull them in tighter.
My business partner's cousin works for Toyota Parts in Corp. (Out West) He was told that the more bad press these vehicles get, the better the results you'll get!
BTW, the dude with the dust spinning around his head was Pigpen.
Glum was on another cartoon.
