My wife called Monday morning: "All lights are on on the dashboard, what do I do?"
In the evening, I looked at the truck - VSC TRAC, Check, VSC OFF, and Slip Indicator lights were on. I disconnected the battery, let it sit, reconnected again, started the truck - lights came back.
The next day, I happened to be off, I took it to the shop. Fuel gauge was 1/4, so I decided to fill-up. Pulling into the gas station I thought - what are the chances that the gas cap is not tight
It was not. Instead, it was broken!!!
do you have to do to break the gas cap? Stopped by Lee's Toyota in Queens, picked up the new cap for $25, and had my father-in-law read and wipe the codes.
Just wanted to share the info, and hopefully save someone a costly trip to the "stealer"...
