Rear doors won't open
In Tahoe this weekend (6-10' of snow), after buying some ammo at Wal-Mart and doing donuts in the Heavenly ski resort parking lot (w/ 6" of snow) I head to the grocery store.
Using the key fob (twice) to unlock the back doors... They won't open (and I tried both sides). Thinking nothing real of it, I just throw the stuff on the passenger side.
Getting home, I try the key fob again, and can't get the rear doors to open. Thinking it's something with the key fob and lock, I use the inside unlock and try again. Still no go.
Ponder for a minute, I check and make sure the door *is* unlocked from the inside for the two rear doors and give it a real hard YANK.
Too much ice and snow build up.
Moral of the story, before you think there's a "mechanical" issue with your 4Runner... It may be simply from having too much fun.
