Security system activation: Is it normal for both lights & horn to activate?

Security system activation: 2008 T4R V6.
Is it normal for both headlights & horn to activate every time you lock or unlock the car with the original security system?? I have always thought this to be normal and started inquiring about how to turn it off.
But, someone just informed me that this is not normal for my SUV.

So....... I am looking to the real experts for the answer.
Is this normal or not???

Either way, does anyone know how to deactivate it?

Although my T4R is a little older than yours, when I lock/unlock mine with the factory security system the front/rear turn signals will flash (once for lock; twice for unlock) and there is an accompanying beep (one for lock; two for unlock) that comes from somewhere under the hood - but not the horn.

The headlights and horn will sound if the alarm is activated.

Beep and flash only on my 04 - do you have an aftermarket alarm?

For locking, single beep and flash of the turn signals. Unlock, two beeps and flashes of the turn signals.

When the alarm is set off, then the parking lights, headlights (don't remember if the turn signals) flash and the horn honks. No beeping.

I think your alarm might be aftermarket, if the horn honks when locking/unlocking. Look around the driver side dash for an extra LED and possibly a override button. The "brain" will most likely be under the dash around the steering column area.
