Ok Guys wife was driving. she calls me and tells me the "Check" engine light came on and the "VSC OFF" and "VSC TRAC" and the Little Car symbol with the swayed line behind it are all shoing on the instrument cluster??? What the hek. THe truck only has 3000K miles on it. Just came back from an oil change and everything was fine for 150 miles or so now this?? Any ideas what might be causing this??

Well did my famouse post then search....she forgot to actually tighten the gas cap, it was just sitting there!! SHesshhhhh man I tell you. I heop my purge valve is not ruined as a result.

Ok Lights are still on after tightening the gas cap. I mean it wasn't on at all. Lights are all still on so that probably means I have to take it to the dealer to have the codes flashed and reset?? I hope nothing happenned somehwere esle, like the purge valve maybe?? I read about that somwhere....

No, the MIL resets after XX amount of key cycles. I don't know the exact number for our vehicles, but they all work off of key cycles.
You might have a problem with your 4Runner though, because a loose gas cap should not cause the VSC or TRAC lights to illuminate. Only the MIL should illuminate because of a loose or missing gas cap.
Either way, I doubt you have a serious problem... If you want to be certain before taking it to the dealer, just disconnect the negative battery cable overnight to clear out the PCM memory. If your lights return, you have a legit problem that your dealer should handle.
One other possibility -- you DID say you'd just had an oil change, right? I had the same thing happen on my former Toyota (an '02 Highlander) after having my oil changed. The oil change guy knocked off some small hose that caused all the same symptoms. I was 400 miles from home and stopped at the local dealer and the first thing he asked was if I'd just had the oil changed. In that case, I had to have it reset by the dealer.

You probably aren't looking to spend any money, but there are ODBII hand-held code readers readily available online and in some autoparts stores.
I picked up an "Innova" unit from PartsAmerica for ~$100 a few months ago. (Not for my t4r, for the POS Land Rover I've since gotten rid of.)
The unit will read fault codes from any OBDII vehicle, though not some manufacturer-specific codes (for which it returns only a general code for the system affected), and also allow you to clear all the OBDII fault data (which resets that pesky Check Engine light!)
P.S. - IMHO, Land Rover needs to put a "Reset Check Engine Light" button right on the freakin' dash. But I'm not bitter. No... :rant:
