bucking at load
Hello,
Im having huge issue's with my 4runner and I need some help. its an 07 4.0 SR5 4X4. a few weeks ago while driving up a hill under normal throttle my truck started bucking violently 5-6 times then went away. it did every time I drove my truck. and at red lights stopped the transmissions seemed to downshift causing a forward jerk like someone hit my rear. I narrowed it down to these operating parameters engine speed between 36-43 mph, 1200-1400 RPM, light throttle, under a light load (going up a hill in residental areas, going on an on ramp etc.. 38mph +/-) I did a tune up oil, NGK spark plugs gapped at .044, air filter. still noticed it.. and at idle it seems every so often the engine will mis and run rough then be normal again. I took it to the dealer because it still under warranty (92000) after two weeks(literally) of troubleshooting they finally were able to install a new tranny + torque converter. I drive it three miles home and it seemed ok, i looked at the tranny it was clean- the next day I drove to work about 40 miles and the condition still happened, at home I looked under and found tranny fluid on the pan and around the cooler lines...took it back they tightened everything topped it off and reflashed the long term memory. they called it good....Not so its still doing it and im lost as to what it could be. any ideas would be great! Its going back to the shop next week. dealer is lost to. thanks
