Roaring sound from back of 4 runner
I have a 2007 4x4 Toyota 4runner sport, 49k miles. About a week ago I started to notice a roaring sound in the back of the car. My first thought was a tire problem seeing the sound was very similar to having oversized tires. Took the car in and had the tires rotated, but the sound was still in the back. The sound starts at about 35-40 mph, and is a constant roar. No loss of power, mpg are ok, have had regular maintenance on the vehicle. Just dropped it off at the dearlership, but if anyone could give their best guess on what I'm in for, I'd appreciate it. Wheel bearing, exhaust problem or differential, are I can come up with.
