Nothing but good reviews here. Can somebody chime in or perhaps Jason in regards to installing these with KDSS. I heard theres trimming involved KDSS plate? Can somebody explain this further? Ive seen one video in youtube a guy cut a portion of the KDSS skid plate. Does it need special tools? Can somebody post a picture of the trimmed plate so I have an idea how it looks like after. Thanks.

Any timeframe on getting the kdss skid back in stock? Waiting on that part before placing an order for sliders.

You do need to trim a little corner off of one of your factory KDSS skid plates to install our sliders, it's a very minor operation. The link below details the operation and shows a picture of one that's cut.

My friend and I just installed my RSG w/kickout. Maybe this post is too late to help you but when you go to "re-install" the shield you will see where it will need to be cut out...about 1/2" x 4". We used a 10" chop saw to make the cut and a grinder wheel to clean up the rough edges. I recommend proper tools/know-how to do this safely. (I could have MAYBE spaced it further "out" with washers but not my style to "bungee cord". Might be an option to consider if your stuck and without proper tools... or until you can take it to someone to cut it for you...?)
BTW...mine were well made...beautiful welding.

Ordered my sliders on the 4th and they arrived on the 12th. Delivery doesn't get any faster than that! Got them installed the next weekend and dealt with the KDSS issues previously mentioned in this thread with no real problems. Went to the desert this weekend and although I didn't have to 'use' them, it was a good feeling knowing they are there. Well-built product, thanks Jason!

Just ordered my angled sliders, kick-out non KDSS, with grip treads. These next couple weeks of solitary confinement are going to be rough anticipating the arrival.

Just ordered these over the weekend and picked them up and installed them today. Very pleased with quality and fitment. I emailed Jason and changed my order a bit since ERW was available for pickup immediately and DOM was weeks out.

Edit: for anyone wondering what was available immediately, it was the angled, with grip top plate, no kickout, ERW for the 5th gen. I'd reach out before ordering just in case. They're open during the lockdown.

I got these same angled sliders with top plate, and they are great, i got the top plate in hopes of keeping flying debris from hitting the truck, as far as slipping while standing on them, your shoe never touches that area. You mainly stand on the outside bar. Great product though.
