My wife and I will for sure be getting RSG kick-outs w/ a plate and we think we've made a decision between angled vs flat but I'd kick myself if I didn't at least ask. We'll primarily be using them for on-road and snow with limited off-road (much less technical off-road) being primarily dirt or wooded. The look of the angled is preferable but my concern is traction when using them as a step when snowy or wet.

Leaning towards flat kick-out but really like the look of angled kick-out. Our previous T4Rs have not had running boards, sliders, or anything so this is the first time we'll be putting this type of after-market part on the vehicle.

The grip top plates provide plenty of traction, so an angled may still work.
